Compliance Policy
We, KATO SANSHO CO.,LTD., have established the following Compliance Policy in order to adhere to compliance specified in the Commitments of our Management Mission.
1．Definition of compliance
Compliance specified in the Commitments of our Management Mission and in our Compliance Policy is defined as complying with laws and regulations (laws and orders based on laws, ordinances, articles of incorporation, voluntary codes of conduct, various regulations and other documented social standards) and to respect social demands, social conventions and social ethics which are the purposes of laws and regulations.
2．Compliance
We shall adhere to compliance and our officers and employees shall not engage in any of the following acts.
- (1)To violate compliance.
- (2)To direct, order, instigate or coerce other officers or employees to violate compliance.
- (3)To permit, approve, or acquiesce compliance violations by other officers or employees.
- (4)To accept to violate compliance by request, contract, or coercion from other officers, employees or others.
3．Blocking relationships with criminal organization
We will not engage in any transactions or have any relationships with criminal organization.
4．Appropriate information management and intense complete
We will properly manage information assets and personal information and take appropriate measures to ensure information security.
5．Compliance Education
We will conduct compliance education for our officers and employees to increase their awareness and obtain the appropriate knowledge.
Environmental Policy
As a trading company specializing in chemical products, KATO SANSHO CO.,LTD. contributes to society by promoting sustainable corporate activities with consideration for the protection of the global environment through the provision of products to customers and support through various information and services, keeping SDGs activities in mind.
- 1.For the sake of a sustainable society, we will propose and develop products, information, and services that are useful for the 3Rs (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), such as environmentally friendly products, recycling and efficient use of resources, and proactively provide these products and services to society.
- 2.We will always consider our impact on the environment, strive to protect the environment and prevent pollution, and aim to contribute to a sustainable environment, society, economy, and local community.
- 3.We will set environmental goals that are reflected in our business processes, and strive to continuously improve our environmental management system to enhance our environmental performance.
- 4.We will strive to reduce waste generation and resource depletion by promoting eco-offices through energy-saving activities such as electricity, and by promoting green purchasing and activities to reduce copy paper use.
- 5.We will comply with environmental laws and regulations set by the national and local governments, as well as other requirements to which we agree.
- 6.To achieve this environmental policy, we will establish an environmental management system, and work on company-wide activities following the environmental management operation system. We will also revise the system in response to changes in circumstances.
- 7.We will make this environmental policy known to all employees and disclose it to the public.
ISO14001
On November 10, 2004, our environmental management system was certified as conforming to the ISO 14001:2015 standard and we were awarded the "Environmental Management System Certificate." This registration has been updated every 3 years.

EcoVadis
KATO SANSHO CO.,LTD. has been assessed by EcoVadis for sustainability in four areas: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable sourcing.
In the 2024 sustainability assessment, KATO SANSHO CO.,LTD. was awarded the EcoVadis Commitment Badge.
EcoVadis is an organization that provides buyers with sustainability assessments of suppliers through an information-sharing platform registered with buyers and suppliers from about 180 countries and 200 industries.
Sustainable sourcing policy:
We aim to source sustainably and have a sourcing and purchasing policy that ensures that our decisions regarding the goods which we purchase comply with the principles of corporate social responsibility (CSR).
For the goods we purchase and sell, we are committed to building a responsible supply chain and working with our partner suppliers to provide the market with sustainably sourced goods, taking into account their environmental impact, social responsibility and economic aspects.

PET Bottle Caps
Plastic bottle caps are collected in-house and used as recycled resources by recycling companies.
Collection of
Used postal stamps
We collect used postal stamps within the company and donate them to local volunteer organizations. The donated used stamps are cashed in through a vendor and used as funds for volunteer projects.
